Two countries announced their artists this month. Belgium was, like in 2017, the first to reveal their participant. Hooverphonic will represent Belgium in Rotterdam. Spanish broadcaster RTVE followed a few days later. Blas Canto will represent Spain at the upcoming edition of the Contest. Sad news from Russia. Natalia Pugacheva, who was a part of Buranovskiye Babushkiye, died last week. The group helped Russia place second in Baku in 2012. Natalia Pugacheva passed away at the age of 83. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place in less than a month and all entries have been revealed. Check them out on the Junior Eurovision YouTube channel and don’t forget to watch the show on the 24th of November! Jon Ola Sand, the Eurovision Song Contest’s Executive Supervisor since 2011, has announced that the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will be his last in this role.
